B | (ECNS) -- Nearly 150 teenage Go players gathered Thursday in Huizhou District, Huangshan City, for the 2026 China ROK Youth Go Exchange Tournament and World Champions Invitational. The unveiling ceremony of the “Huangshan Space for Youth Go Culture” was held alongside the opening. Korea Baduk Association President Ha Geun ryul said the event would be a lasting memory for young participants, while Chinese Weiqi Association Chairman Chang Hao noted its role in promoting bilateral exchanges. Within the World Champions Invitational segment, Luo Xihe (9‑dan) from China and Choi Cheol‑han (9‑dan) from the ROK will compete in three friendly Go matches. Professionals from both countries will also attend seminars and cultural activities including bamboo carving, tea making and night tours of Huangshan.
